Beware…the ides of March!
Well, not really. :)
Everything is going swimmingly so far this year. I’ve got about 30+ more songs in the works at the moment, my Monday / Friday idea generations have been going smoothishly, and I’m on track to break about 550 tunes by April 1. Not a bad start for the year!
I’ve reorganized my site a bit, so if you go to the Royalty-free page you can click on some genres and get playlists from SoundCloud of the albums that are in those style. Clicking on the player will bring you right to the album, and you can download the tracks directly on SoundCloud. This is the quickest way to get my tracks right now - if you run into any troubles finding / getting what you need, reach out at timkuligfreemusic@gmail.com.
New site database is almost finished. Once that is finalized, I’ll be working with my developers to build and refine the front end of the new website. Exciting stuff! I’m hoping the searchable database and tagging system, coupled with easily copyable attribution language will make it super easy for creators to grab my tracks and the text they need to paste in to YouTube, etc.
I’ll be getting some help later this year in the realm of advertising, content creation, and brand building - woohoo! I’ve needed to offload some of that to build out the remainder of my catalog while still growing the brand and getting my music in the hands of those who need it. This should add to even more consistency with me engaging my audience and entertaining while also promoting new songs and releases. The volume of tunes is going to be extensive, and I don’t want the tracks to get lost in the volume shuffle.
More podcasts, too - I’ve been so laser focused on making new tracks I really haven’t had much to say or many people to interview. I’m going to work on getting some interesting people to talk to over the next several months.
Seems every time I sit down to think about what’s going on there’s quite the list of things to talk about - like I said previously, I’ve got a busy year ahead of me!
